We found a really nice one thirty years ago (made in the UK) and but about fifteen years ago we were forced to switch vendors when those became unavailable. A few years later the quality of the replacement poly flasks went way down. The poly became thinner and the little aluminum ‘shot glass’ was really thin and cheap and did not thread nicely onto the flask correctly, either. So we did a bunch of research and ordered many samples of these flasks from various vendors and eventually found some really nice ones again. So just as with everything else, there’s good cheap poly flasks and then there’s lousy cheap poly flasks. These are the nice ones, and are the ones you want. My original ’nicer’ poly flask is now about thirty years old and it’s still great to handle and carry…a very nicely made inexpensive poly flask.
