Bear Bag

In many areas of the country, a fact of camping out is Animals Eating Your Food When You Aren’t Looking. This can vary from a nuisance to downright dangerous. This small, self-contained bag/rope/weight sack enables you to hang food high up in a tree branch, out of reach of critters. The idea with this product is that all the parachute cord stores inside the little bag, then when you reach a camp area with bears you put something heavy inside the bag and thow it over a high limb, with the parachute cord attached. Then you use the parachuete cord to raise your food bag (as separate bag or saddle bag) high in the tree and tie the free end off. An even more wonderful use is as a self-storing laundry drying line when spider-webbed across and around the fixtures in your overnight motel room. Lets you dry out all of your wet stuff. Packs down to 5"×3.5". Has 60 ft. of 600# paracord and a 1000D Cordura stuffsack.
